Description
This lot features an antique American Chippendale four-drawer chest or dresser, a furniture style popular in the Colonies during the late 18th Century. This chest is constructed of wood and presents a classic silhouette, likely featuring bracket feet and simple, clean lines common to the style. The piece provides storage with four drawers, each fitted with traditional brass bail handles and backplates. The case has a medium wood finish and the drawers are stacked. The overall design emphasizes functionality and enduring colonial craftsmanship. This piece is suitable for a bedroom, hallway, or dining area.
