Description
This is a handmade terra cotta warrior figure created in 1982 by A&C Trade and marked “Handmade in Xian China” on the bottom. It represents one of the famed Terracotta Warriors, the life-sized army buried with Qin Shi Huang, the first Emperor of China, to protect him in the afterlife. The Terracotta Army, discovered in 1974 near Xi’an, China, consists of thousands of unique soldiers, chariots, and horses. Each warrior figure is individually detailed, reflecting the highly organized structure of the Qin military. This particular figure stands approximately H: 13.5" x W: 3" and is in good condition.
