Description
This is a Royal Worcester fine porcelain dinnerware set in the Evesham Gold pattern, produced in England circa 1961. The pattern features assorted fruit still-life designs on a white background with gold trim. Royal Worcester, established in 1751 by Dr. John Wall and partners, is one of the oldest English porcelain makers. The company received a royal warrant in 1788 and became known for luxury tableware and figures. It was acquired by the Portmeirion Group in 2009 after manufacturing in Worcester ceased. This set includes multiple dinner plates, side plates, bowls, cups, saucers, pitchers, serving dishes, covered vegetable dishes, creamers, and sugar bowls as shown in the photos. It is in good condition overall with some plates showing chips on the rim.
