Description
This is a vintage Hall China teapot in chartreuse green glaze with a repeating gold daisy motif and fully gold-plated handle, spout, and lid knob. The teapot is marked on the base: “Hall 12 Cup Made in U.S.A.” along with the model number 4042 GI and a round blue Hall backstamp, indicating mid-20th century production. It is made of durable vitrified ceramic, typical of Hall’s "Gold Label" line, known for its bright glazes and metallic decoration. The form is often referred to as a French-style teapot, featuring a rounded body and elegantly arched spout. Approximate size: 7" high x 7" wide. Condition: Good, no visible chips, cracks, or repairs.
