Description
This is a vintage hard-sided suitcase manufactured by M. Koch & Sons under the Koch’s Aviation Luggage brand, made in Los Angeles, California, USA. Measuring 26 inches wide by 9 inches high and 9 inches deep, the case features a woven herringbone-textured exterior in tan, accented with brass-tone latches, reinforced corners, and a maroon plastic handle. The interior is lined in mauve satin with ruched storage pockets and internal tie-down straps. Koch’s Aviation Luggage was produced in the 1940s–1950s, marketed toward air travelers during the rise of commercial flight. Good condition.
