Description
A large, framed Chinese ink and watercolor painting on paper, after Zhang Daqian (Chang Dai-chien, 1899–1983), one of the most renowned Chinese painters of the 20th century. The composition features stylized koi fish swimming among scattered cherry blossoms, rendered in expressive brush strokes characteristic of traditional Chinese literati painting. A vertical column of poetic calligraphy, accompanied by three red artist’s seals, appears on the right. Housed in a contemporary frame with silk matting and glass glazing. A wire is attached to the reverse for hanging. This item measures H: 23" x W: 31.5" and is in good condition.
