Description
Victorian-era side chair featuring a solid wood frame with a gently curved balloon back and turned spindle supports beneath an arched crest rail. The seat is upholstered in a richly textured velvet fabric with a raised floral pattern in olive, gold, and rose tones, bordered by decorative braid trim. Cabriole-style front legs and saber rear legs are connected by double stretchers for added stability. The wood displays a warm patina with light wear consistent with age. Measures approximately 33 inches tall and 17 inches wide and is in good condition.
