Description
Circular brass wall plaque depicting the Aztec Sun Stone (Piedra del Sol), intricately embossed with traditional Mesoamerican iconography representing the Aztec calendar system. The central face of Tonatiuh, the sun god, is surrounded by radiating symbols denoting days, gods, and cosmological elements. The outer rim is decorated with a hammered edge and segmented geometric motifs. A metal hanger is affixed to the back for wall display. Measures approximately 11.75 inches in diameter and 0.25 inches thick, in good condition.
