Description
This lot features a vibrantly painted, hand-carved wooden figurine depicting a parrot. The piece reflects traditional Indonesian folk art aesthetics, utilizing bold colors including yellow, red, black, brown, and turquoise. The carving is distinguished by a red-and-white striped crest and painted feather detailing across the body. The object's construction suggests it may have functioned as a puppet or ceremonial piece, evidenced by small holes with string loops visible on the sides.
