Description
This lot presents a decorative Scales of Justice in the Hollywood Regency style. The structure features an ornate brass-tone metal body with elaborate scrollwork and a crown motif at the apex. The central column incorporates a clear, faceted crystal or glass element. The balance beam holds two oval-shaped brass-tone pans, suspended by chains. The entire piece rests upon a square base composed of brass-tone metal detailing and a square marble block. This item is intended for decorative purposes and is not a functional, calibrated weighing instrument.
