Description
This reverse-painted glass snuff bottle depicts a detailed scene from the scroll painting “Along the River During the Qingming Festival” (清明上河图). It has a rounded form with flattened sides and features an interior painting of a bustling cityscape with figures, architecture, and landscapes. It is painted on the inside of the glass using a traditional reverse-painting technique. It is topped with a red-toned faux agate dome stopper and a gold-colored decorative cord. It measures approximately 2" in height and 3.5" in width. It comes with its original patterned padded display box and is in good condition.
