Description
This auction lot features a collection of four vintage cast iron skillets of varying sizes. The collection includes recognizable pieces from two historically significant American cast iron manufacturers, Wagner Ware and Griswold. The skillets display visible manufacturing marks and size indicators, including a Wagner Ware Sidney skillet (size 8) and another skillet with a size 10 marking on the handle. The cookware is in used, vintage condition, displaying a patina of age and use, with varying degrees of current seasoning and bare metal exposure. The largest skillet has twin pour spouts and an assist handle.
