Description
Acoustic Research AR-2a Vintage 3-Way Acoustic Suspension Loudspeakers in walnut veneer cabinets with classic woven grilles and original AR Inc. badges. Each speaker features a 1.375" dome tweeter, two 5" cone midrange drivers, and a 10" cone woofer, delivering thunderous lows, sparkling mids, and glittering highs. Designed with an acoustic suspension system for deep, controlled bass, they offer an impedance of 8 ohms, a frequency response of 42–20,000 Hz, crossover frequencies at 2000 Hz and 7500 Hz, and require a minimum amplifier power of 20 watts. Rear controls allow adjustment of mid and high frequency levels. Measuring 13.5" x 11.5" x 23.75", these speakers are in good vintage condition with some cosmetic wear consistent with age.
