Description
A large, theatrical oil on canvas portrait depicting a nobleman in richly detailed Baroque/Rococo-inspired attire, featuring ornate fabrics, lace details, and a feathered hat. The figure holds a scepter-like staff and is accompanied by a Borzoi-style dog, enhancing the dramatic and regal presentation. The style blends historical grandeur with a fantasy edge, creating a flamboyant, almost stage-like character study. The work is framed in an ornate wood frame with a detailed aged metallic finish, custom framed by Ben Franklin (Grass Valley, CA). Measures 31" x 49" and is in good condition.
