Description
Eames for Herman Miller DSX Chair in red-orange fiberglass with tubular steel H-base and original shock mounts. Designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1948 for MoMA’s Low Cost Furniture Design competition, the DSX (Dining Side Chair X-base) is the simplest of the Eames plastic chair collection, showcasing the designers’ vision of affordable, functional, and timeless furniture. This iconic mid-century modern piece features a molded fiberglass shell, chromed steel base, and retains its classic minimalist form. Dimensions: 19" W x 19" D x 31.25" H. Condition: good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, light scuffs, and minor surface marks.
