Description
This unique artwork is an original piece by Ingrid Rovins (1920–2008), an American artist known for her distinctive technique of painting on natural stone such as marble and granite. The stone itself serves as the canvas, with its natural veining inspiring her imagery. This particular piece depicts the profile of a woman facing a small bird, beautifully integrated into the natural marble pattern. Signed Ingrid on the front and with the original artist’s tag on the back. Rovins’ work is highly regarded for its individuality, as each stone painting is one-of-a-kind. Collectors value her ability to transform natural formations into delicate human and animal figures. Measures 5" x 2.5" and is in good condition.
