Description
Framed print of the Vienna Fair, Austria, titled "FIERA DI VIENNA 13-19 MARZO 1938", originally designed by Elisabeth Benedikt. Created for the Vienna Trade Fair in March 1938, the event coincided with the Nazi Anschluss on March 13, 1938, when Austria was annexed by Nazi Germany. The fair itself was overshadowed by this political upheaval, marking the end of Austrian independence and the beginning of anti-Jewish persecution. This item measures 13.75" x 19.75" and is in good condition.
