Description
This is a vintage tin plate clockwork toy known as the “Circus Car Merry Ball Blower,” manufactured in Japan by Yoshiya (KO) between 1956 and 1965. It is a red circus-themed car with lithographed details, including clowns and performers visible through the windows. It has a smokestack on the roof topped with a white ball. It operates with a wind-up motor using an integral key, which powers the car’s movement and the ball-blowing action. When wound, air is generated from the smokestack to keep a lightweight ball suspended in the air. It measures 7 inches tall and is in good condition.
