Description
This is an antique Gorham sterling silver shell dish, pattern 445. The dish is designed in the shape of a scallop shell, with scalloped edges and a ribbed interior that mimics the natural fluted texture and radiating ridges of a bivalve shell. This piece is part of Gorham’s discontinued sterling hollowware line. It is stamped on the bottom, measures 3” across, and is in good condition.
