Description
This is a framed limited edition lithograph titled Bag Ladies by Braldt Bralds, published by The Greenwich Workshop, Inc. in 1995. It is signed and numbered in pencil by the artist, 1896/2500. The artwork depicts a group of cats interacting with paper shopping bags of various colors and sizes. Some cats are shown peeking out from inside, while others sit near or lounge around the bags. The composition emphasizes the individual personalities of the cats as they explore their environment. Braldt Bralds (born 1951, Netherlands) is known both as an illustrator and fine art painter. He trained at the Grafische School in Rotterdam and later achieved international recognition, including commissions for Time Magazine. The piece measures 29” x 22” and is in good condition.
