Description
This is a Galileo thermometer, a sealed glass cylinder filled with clear liquid and multiple colorful glass bulbs. Each bulb contains a metal tag indicating a specific temperature. The thermometer functions on the principle of buoyancy, with the rise and fall of bulbs showing changes in liquid density as temperature shifts. The piece measures 12" in height. It is in good condition.
