Description
This is an antique walnut Jacobean Revival sideboard buffet featuring brass hardware and carved decorative details. It includes two central drawers, one with divided compartments, and side compartments for additional storage. The piece rests on turned legs joined by stretchers, with ornamental carved accents throughout. Jacobean Revival furniture was popular during the Victorian and Edwardian periods, particularly from the 1870s onward. It reinterpreted 17th-century Jacobean style with strapwork, incised patterns, and intricate carvings, blending traditional design with the mass production methods of the time. The sideboard measures 68.5” x 21” x 47.5”. It is in good condition, showing normal signs of wear consistent with age and use.
