Description
This is an Ethan Allen Connolly night stand from the Townhouse Collection. It is constructed with alder solids and cherry veneers, with ash burl veneer drawer fronts. The design features curved cross legs with a bottom crossbar, escutcheon, and leg ferrules that add Neoclassical style. The piece includes two drawers with beaded edging, antique brass knobs, and faux keyholes. Ethan Allen was founded in 1932 by Nathan Ancell and Theodore Baumritter and began manufacturing furniture in 1935. The company introduced its first colonial-style line in 1939, later becoming known for pioneering the “open stock” furniture concept and the “Showcase Gallery” retail model. Today, Ethan Allen is recognized as a vertically integrated furniture manufacturer and interior design retailer. The piece measures 32" x 18.5" x 29.25". It is in good condition.
