Description
This is a framed lithograph by Janet Brignola-Tava titled Incense Burners . The artwork depicts a still life arrangement with objects of Asian aesthetic influence. On the left, a tall vase holds red and orange flowers with green leaves. To the right, a decorative incense burner with a pointed flame-like top, intricate patterns, and a golden base is shown beside a smaller vessel with a swirling design. A shallow bowl and a lotus-like object complete the composition, which is set against an earthy-toned textured background. Janet Brignola-Tava studied at the School of Visual Arts and later at the Fashion Institute of Technology and Parsons School of Design. She worked for several years at Karl Mann Studio, where she specialized in decorative painting techniques inspired by traditional Asian designs. Her work has been exhibited in museums and galleries and is included in private collections. The piece measures 36.25" x 42.25". It is in good condition.
