Description
It is an Ethan Allen cheval dresser fitting mirror crafted in mahogany in the 18th-century style. It features a rectangular mirror set within a mahogany frame, supported by turned side posts with finials and adjustment knobs. It has carved details at the base and stands on cabriole legs ending in brass claw feet with casters. Ethan Allen Interiors Inc. was founded in 1932 by Nathan S. Ancell and Theodore Baumritter in the United States. The company originally focused on colonial-style furniture and later expanded into full home furnishings. During the mid-20th century, Ethan Allen became known for its coordinated furniture collections and its widespread network of company-owned and franchised stores. Today, the company continues to produce furniture and home accessories in a range of styles, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern design elements. It measures 30 inches wide, 27 inches deep, and 68.25 inches high and is in good condition.
