Description
Limited edition lithograph of 'Mirror Lake' by Inge Saastad, numbered 67/600. Signed and numbered in pencil by the artist. Depicts snow-capped mountains and evergreen trees reflected in a body of water. Dominant blue and white tones evoke a cold ambiance. Inge Saastad was born in Holmestrand, Norway, and began painting at an early age. After years of travel with the Norwegian Merchant Marine and a brief career in California, he became a full-time artist. His work, often focused on ocean scenes of the Western U.S. coastline, was widely exhibited and sold throughout San Francisco and beyond. Measures 16”x20”. Framed in gold-tone frame; visible wear on back and matting but artwork is preserved in good condition.
