Description
This is a 19-piece reproduction porcelain set made in Limoges, France for the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in 1985. The pattern is adapted from an English Bow porcelain plate dated 1755–60 and features quail and peony motifs. The design is based on a ca. 1756–58 original by the Bow Porcelain Factory in London, known for incorporating Japanese-inspired enamel palettes. The set includes plates and cups. It is in good condition.
