Description
77-piece porcelain tableware set by Coalport in the Indian Tree multicolor pattern. Features scalloped edges and green trim, with transferware decoration depicting a stylized floral tree motif influenced by Indian textiles and Chinese porcelain designs. Includes symmetrical arrangements of flowers, branches, and birds. Marked “Original Engraving Indian Tree, Period 1801” on multiple pieces. Produced using traditional transfer printing techniques. Coalport, established in 1795 in Shropshire, England, was among the earliest makers of this pattern. Discontinued pattern, produced circa 1801–1939. Moderate wear consistent with age and use.
