Description
This is a framed print of Irises by Vincent van Gogh, issued by The J. Paul Getty Museum, Malibu, California. The original painting was completed in May 1889 during van Gogh's stay at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole asylum in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France. The composition features vibrant irises and lush green leaves with expressive brushwork characteristic of van Gogh's impasto technique. The print is framed and measures 31.25” L x 27” H. It is in good condition with minor surface wear on the frame. The original artwork is part of the permanent collection of The J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles, where it has been held since 1990.
