Description
This is a hand-colored photographic print by Wallace Nutting titled Dykeside Blossoms. It depicts a tranquil rural scene with a dirt path and blooming trees along a waterway. The print is signed by the artist and is displayed in a gold-tone wooden frame. The frame measures 17.5” L x 11.75” H. Wallace Nutting was known for his hand-colored photographs that captured idealized views of New England landscapes and interiors. His work, popular in the early 20th century, remains a significant representation of American photographic history. Both the print and frame are in good condition, with minor wear visible on the frame’s corners.
