Description
This is a set of five pottery plates by Henriot Quimper, France. Each features hand-painted illustrations in the traditional folk faience country style, including Breton figures and floral motifs. Each plate is hand-signed “Henriot” and initialed by the artist. They are crafted using traditional techniques and measure 6" in diameter. Henriot Quimper pottery continues to be handmade and hand-painted by individual artists, preserving the tradition of the Quimper factories. The pieces are produced from original casts and reflect both historic and contemporary artistic contributions. They are in good condition with minor wear consistent with age and handling.
