Description
This is a framed art print of Portrait of a Boy by Rembrandt van Rijn. Created between 1655 and 1660, this unfinished painting offers insight into Rembrandt's working method. The body and costume are rendered with broad, minimal brushstrokes over a dark ground, while the collar, hair, and head are more developed. The face is fully modeled and illuminated by frontal light, standing out against the dark background. Though once thought to depict Rembrandt’s son Titus, the subject remains debated. It measures 29.5" x 25.5" and is in good condition.
