Description
This Lenci "Prince" doll was made exclusively for the Home Shopping Network as a limited edition reproduction of a 1956 felt model. The design is based on a figure believed to represent Prince Rainier of Monaco in traditional Monegasque costume. The Lenci Company was founded in Turin, Italy, around 1918 by Elena Scavini. It became internationally recognized for its high-quality felt dolls, toys, puppets, and decorative ceramics. Known for its diverse and detailed designs, the company remained active until 2002. It is number 123 of 499 and includes the original certificate of authenticity. The doll is 14 inches tall and is in new condition.
