Description
This Lenci "Grace" doll was made exclusively for the Home Shopping Network in 1997 as a limited edition reproduction of a 1956 felt doll. It is number 438 of 499 and comes with its original box and certificate of authenticity. The Lenci Company was founded in Turin, Italy, around 1918 by Elena Scavini. It became known for high-quality felt dolls, toys, puppets, and decorative ceramics. The company achieved international recognition for its detailed and diverse doll designs, drawing inspiration from fashion, regional dress, and popular culture. Production continued through various phases until ceasing in 2002. It measures 13.5 inches tall and is in new condition.
