Description
1977 Lucasfilm/Twentieth Century Fox US insert poster for the theatrical release of 'Star Wars,' style 'A,' featuring iconic artwork. Star Wars, created by George Lucas, premiered in 1977 and became a global media franchise. It expanded into television, video games, novels, comics, and theme park attractions, becoming one of the highest-grossing franchises of all time. The film reshaped Hollywood by shifting focus to special effects-driven blockbusters and launching the summer blockbuster model. Its “used universe” aesthetic influenced later films such as Blade Runner, Alien, The Terminator, and Mad Max 2. Displayed in a silver-tone metal frame. Condition is described as good with minor age-related wear to the frame and materials.
