Description
A 43-inch wooden nutcracker in the style of a toy soldier, originating in the Erzgebirge region of Germany. Features a black fur hat, red and blue painted attire with gold accents, and a traditional mustache. Nutcrackers from this region have a rich history tied to the Ore Mountains, crafted since the late 17th century. Good condition with minor wear consistent with use.
