Description
This is a mosaic-style quilt featuring the 'Mosaic Rose' pattern by Ann Orr. Adapted from an Ann Orr 1930s-1940s design. Anne Orr was known for translating everyday beauty into textile designs. Her prominence grew when she served as a judge for the Sears, Roebuck and Company quilt contest at the 1933 Century of Progress Exposition in Chicago. The quilt features pink roses framed by blue and green geometric details with a white background and blue border. Measures 93" x 69". Condition is good, showing minor wear consistent with age.
