Description
This is a framed art print titled "Maine" by Richard C. Hasenfus (1932–2019), published by the Hasenfus Gallery. The print depicts a serene coastal harbor scene featuring sailboats and classic New England architecture, capturing the charm and maritime spirit of the region. Rendered in Hasenfus’s signature painterly style, it reflects his deep connection to Maine’s seascapes and his lifelong passion for nautical subjects. Hasenfus, a Boston-born artist, studied at the Massachusetts College of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, and the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence, Italy. His extensive travels throughout Europe, the Caribbean, and the U.S. heavily influenced his work. After settling in Maine, he became a central figure in the New England art community, founding the Hasenfus Gallery in Wiscasset and serving on the Board of Governors for The Copley Society of Art in Boston. The artwork is presented in a gold-tone frame and measures 22.5" x 28.5". Both print and frame are in good condition, with only minor wear consistent with age and display.
