This is a 1949 map titled ‘Existing and Proposed Major Water Developments in the State of California,’ created by cartographer Lenoir. Printed in color via lithography, it measures 41.5″ x 26.75″ and depicts a bird’s-eye view of California’s water resources, including index tables of projects. Pictorial relief and Prime Meridian set at GM. Published in San Francisco by the Irrigation Districts Association of California’s Water Economics Committee. Original issue price noted as $2. Good overall condition with minor wear.
