Description
This is a Curtis Jere style wall sculpture depicting a world map. It features semi-abstract continents with burnt and brazed edges on a wire frame. It is made of metal with a semi-patinated finish. The name Curtis Jere is a pseudonym for Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, who founded Artisan House in 1964. They were known for large-scale decorative metalwork, including wall decorations, lighting, and sculptures. This item has a signature on the back that writes "Broen '86". It measures 40.5" x 24.5". It is in good condition with minor wear consistent with use.
