Description
This is an original signed painting on canvas by Loris Stephe Jacobs, depicting a tranquil pastoral barn scene with cows grazing in a rural setting. Rendered in warm, earthy tones—soft reds, browns, and golds—the artwork captures the nostalgic atmosphere of late summer or early autumn. The brushwork is loose yet deliberate, lending a storybook-like charm to the composition. Stylistically, the piece is influenced by American Regionalism, reminiscent of artists like Grant Wood or Thomas Hart Benton, but with a more decorative and modern sensibility. The painting measures 32" x 26" and is presented in a wood frame. It is in good condition, with no visible damage.
