Description
This is a Heathkit Laboratory Oscilloscope, model 10-18, made in the USA in 1971. As written in the original catalog of 1971, the oscilloscope shares the heritage of the popular 10-12 model, widely used in service shops, laboratories, industries, and home test benches. It features a new look with easy-to-grasp knobs, updated pointers, and markings for quick, accurate readings. The 10-18 can be wired for either 120V or 240V use and includes a 3-wire line cord with a grounded cabinet. It is known for excellent linearity, stable waveform presentations, and wide bandwidth (5 MHz) for TV signal analysis. This model includes two preset sweep frequency choices, a peak-to-peak calibration reference, and a frequency-compensated vertical attenuation. It is designed for reliable performance in specialized and general investigations. It is also chosen for use in institutions such as the Berkeley Physics Laboratory. It measures approximately 8.5" L x 15" H x 16.25" W and is in good condition.
