Description
Bucherer Skeleton Clock in case. The case is made of heavy brass metal and the front and sides are fitted with glass panels. The clock mechanism is supported by a metal pillar. The brass dial chapter ring has black Roman numerals to mark the hours and matching black metal hands to point out the time. Maker's mark "Bucherer" appears in black block letters on the lower right side of the front panel. The back panel is made of plastic, has a small knob and is removeable which allows access to the small knob on the back of the clock for adjusting the time. Takes one AA battery to operate. Measures approximately 5.25"x 3"x 6.25". Condition: The brass has some discoloration on the top and bottom of the clock, and there is a damage spot on the back of the clock's pillar. Besides this cosmetic damage, the clock appears to be in good condition. Functionality not tested for. This lot was featured in an old auction but was never picked up, so it is being re-offered.
