Description
This is a Paladin Tools 1576 Data/Link ID cable check, a compact multi-purpose continuity tester and network identifier. It is compatible with UTP, FTP, and flat-profile cables with RJ45 terminations. It tests data and phone connection schemes, detecting good connections, open circuits, short circuits, and cross-connections. It also identifies data and link transmission speeds in real-time (100MB and 10MB) and detects PC (NIC) and Hub data transmissions, as well as NLP or FLP link pulses. The scan speed is selectable between fast and slow. It comes with a black carrying case. It measures approximately 7" in length and is in good condition.
