Description
This is a French patinated bronze bust of Diane de Poitiers, based on Jean Goujon’s 1565 work Diane d'Anet or Fontaine de Diane , which is exhibited at the Louvre Museum. This piece is a tribute rather than a portrait, depicting the goddess with a high hairstyle adorned with a diadem. It is presented on a square pedestal. This item measures approximately 11" in height and is in good condition.
