Description
This is a Spode Blue Room British Flowers Poppy earthenware platter. First introduced circa 1831, this Spode Blue Room British Flowers pottery platter is part of the Garden Collection. It features an underglaze print from a hand-engraved copper plate, a technique historically used by Spode and reintroduced in the 1990s. The platter is made of earthenware and glazed for durability. The floral pattern and blue and white Transferware design reflect Spode’s archival patterns. This item measures approximately 1" H x 13" in diameter and is in good condition.
