Description
This is a studio art pottery fish-themed bowl made and signed by North Carolina artist Ellen Hill. The design features intricate, life-like carved details with a blue glaze. Ellen Hill, an award-winning potter since 1975, has participated in both invitational and juried exhibitions. She is a member of the Orange County Artists Guild and Clayworks and creates mid-range stoneware from her home studio, firing her pieces twice to a final temperature of 2232°F. The bowl measures approximately 4" H x 10.5" diameter and is in good condition.
