Description
Replica 440 Stainless Steel Ninjato. A Ninjato is a Japanese sword similar to the Katana, but consisting of a straight steel blade instead of a gentle curving blade. The Ninjato allegedly was the preferred weapon of the Shinobi or Ninja of feudal Japan, and is often depicted as being carried on the back instead of the waist like the Katana. Ironically, there is no evidence that suggests that Ninjato were used by actual Shinobi, and replicas of this weapon are likely based on designs of the Wakazashi or Chokuto swords used by Feudal Japanese Infantryman. This replica sword is made from 440 stainless steel and features a black paracord covered handle with a black painted sheath. The sword measures approximately 43" overall, and is in good condition.
