Description
This is a vintage coaster set consisting of six coasters in their original gold-toned tin case. Three coasters feature the "Tobacco Leaf" pattern, which originated in 18th-century China for export to European and North American markets. The other three coasters display the "Duke of Gloucester" pattern, inspired by an English Worcester soup plate from approximately 1780. Each coaster measures approximately 4" in diameter. The set is in good condition.
