Description
This is an Ethan Allen Classic Manor solid maple buffet server, model no. 15-6015. It was made in the 1960s-70s and features the original brass hardware, a flip-top with a durable black surface, and a lower cabinet with one shelf and a drawer with dividers. The company was founded in 1932 by Theodore Baumritter and Nathan S. Ancell as a housewares manufacturer. In 1936, they purchased a furniture factory in Beecher Falls, Vermont, and in 1939, introduced early-American furniture under the name "Ethan Allen," inspired by the Vermont Revolutionary War leader. It measures approximately 41.5"L x 34"H x 21"D and 63"L when fully opened and is in good condition.
